Meet the Founder

FOUNDER OF BROWNY AND CO
I'm a British-Filipino founder behind Browny & Co, a UK-based independent dog accessories brand created from a genuine love of dogs and a desire to make everyday walks a little better.
The name Browny & Co has a little piece of my Filipino background in it, too.
Growing up Filipino, there was always a simple way of naming dogs by their colour. A brown dog? Browny. A white dog? Whitey. A black dog? Blacky. It was just one of those things that everyone seemed to understand.
So when Bruno came into our lives, a warm brown Cavapoo with a personality much bigger than his little face, Browny felt like the perfect name for the brand.

Bruno was actually an anniversary gift to my husband and me, something I'd always dreamed of, although I never imagined that the dog I'd always wanted would be a Cavapoo!
From the moment Bruno came into our lives, he quickly became part of everything we do. He's affectionate, clever, curious and full of personality, and naturally, he became the inspiration behind Browny & Co.
He's also our very first product tester and our Chief of Charm & Quality Control.
When he's not starring on our socials, Bruno is out exploring parks, beaches and city streets with us, discovering new sights and smells, running freely and showing off the occasional zoomie.
Our Story
Living in an apartment, we quickly learned that daily dog walks come with their own challenges, especially during the darker winter months.
There were plenty of evenings when we'd head out for a walk with Bruno, only to realise how difficult it was to see where we were going. We'd find ourselves using our phones as torches, trying to spot Bruno's lead in the dark, and, more than once, discovering a little too late what we'd stepped in!
We wanted dog walking essentials that could make those everyday moments easier, practical, comfortable and stylish, without having to carry extra things with us.
We've tried countless collars, harnesses and leashes ourselves, and found that many didn't quite offer the combination of comfort, durability and practicality we were looking for.
That's where Browny & Co began.
We created our first collection with Bruno and everyday dog life in mind, choosing premium materials, thoughtful details and practical designs that work just as well on a muddy forest walk as they do on a city stroll.
Our Signature Collection begins with our Cinnamon shade, inspired by Bruno himself.
At Browny & Co, we believe dog accessories should make everyday walks feel a little easier, more comfortable and more enjoyable, for dogs and their humans.
